Olive Diaries is a collection of seven stories from ‘military fiction’ genre that brings out precious moments from the lives of ordinary people and their extraordinary deeds. This is not just a saga of exceptional bravery and courage but a sensitive account of trials and tribulations of common people who can be seen working with or without wearing a uniform and face strong mental, physical and emotional adversities while handling challenges much beyond the call of their duties.

These stories are born out of some very personal and intimate experiences of the author who had spent over three decades in the Indian Army as a commissioned officer between 1984 and 2015. The stories let the readers live a slice from the lives of people in uniform.
